Sorcerer of Avalon - Merlin Spell Oil
Sorcerer of Avalon - Merlin has been created as a masculine counterpart to the Sorceresses of Avalon energies and honours the energy of the famous Druid and Magician who is now commonly known as "Merlin."
It is argued that originally Merlin was in fact a title for the head Druid and the myth which we commonly associate with Merlin is actually referencing the Celtic mythology surrounding Talesin; the greatest Druid of all time.
The energies of this particular spell oil reflect the modern understanding of the Merlin; to honour and encompass the energies of this fabled Druid or Wizard; the energies are for wisdom, truth, divination, magick, prophecy and above all, counsel.
The aesthetic of the Spell Oil for Merlin is to reflect that of the Druid walking through the Old Woods; the deep green representing the Old nature magick, connecting him to the Earth, animals and shapeshifting as well as the mythos where he is trapped in caves or in a tree (depending on which myths you read) as well as the act of placing Excalibur into the stone (Earth) as an act of prophecy.
An Archetypal figure who travels through time and can lend us his energies of wise counsellor; having counselled Uther as well as King Arthur as well as balancing the magick and politics within the world through his own inner counsel with magick and the voice of the Earth.
The spell energy of Merlin can assist you with hearing and knowing what to do in any given situation; hearing the right messages, and seeking as well as accepting counsel from wise elders and discerning which opinion and actions are for the highest self, then grounding those decisions in the physical Earthly realm.
