Originally a requested item, the Goddess Cerridwen Spell Cauldron is now available in store!

The Goddess Cerridwen Spell Cauldron has been designed to honour the Celtic Goddess Cerridwen who was very vocal in the creation of her spell items!

This spell energy honours certain aspects of the Goddess Cerridwen who is a multi-faceted Goddess, a Shape-shifter who has many forms and energies. In her mythos she chases Gwion after he dropped three drops from her cauldron of Awen (Inspiration) onto his fingers and tasted the potion giving him access to untold wisdom and magickal powers intended for Cerridwens' son.
When Gwion shapeshifted into a Hare, Cerridwen pursued him as a Greyhound, when he shifted into a fish She became an Otter, when he changed into a bird he became a hawk. Eventually Gwion shifted into a grain of wheat and Cerridwen became a Hen and ate him; but through the magick of the tale the seed that he had shifted into became a seed of life within Cerridwen who became pregnant, transforming Gwion into Taliesin whom Cerridwen gave birth to - Taliesin is better known as 'Merlin' in modern times although this was originally a title; one of the greatest poets and magicians the world had ever known.
Through shapeshifting and trials, Cerridwen helped Gwion to struggle to overcome all challenges through shapeshifting and ultimately rebirth.

The Spell cauldron gives homage to the wheat seed aspect of this myth as a provider of fertility and change as well as to Cerridwen as the White Lady of Inspiration and Death. The spell cauldron itself reflects the potion of Awen - Inspiration and Magick and contains magick for Inspiration, the ways of Magick, Poetry, Creation, Healing.

Magick of the Earth and Water run through, as well as growth through transformation and personal change. The cauldron reflects the druid aspects of Land, Sea and Sky through which the animals shapeshifted; and shapeshifting magick here can help you through all the little "deaths" of our life; the changes which lead us to being our best selves, and reminding us to never give up.
