★ Goddess Áine, The Good Folk, honouring the Fae, honouring the local land spirits, Summer magick, healing, abundance. ★

Exclusive to starryeyedsupplies in biodegradable pots (2 sizes available.)

This powder is an offering powder (not designed to be burnt); a biodegradable all natural blend that sings the solar song of Áine, of the magic of summer, of growth, healing, abundance and honouring the good folk to make sure all of that doesn’t go awry. It’s only polite (and sensible, really.)

Goddess Áine has stood the test of time and is still celebrated in Ireland today, with her main residence being hill of Cnoc Áine, where some say she 'appears' at the four main Fire festivals of the year, although She is particularly associated with Midsummer.

The hill is said to be shaped as if in female form with three rings or barrows in the middles representing the resting places of Áine’s mortal kinsmen. Áine herself sits at the summit of the Sidhé mound, guarding the gateway into the Otherworld only to open it up each Midsummer is to allow Áine with her host of Fae to procession around the local area.

Traditionally at the hill of Áine, each year torches are lit in her honour to bless the harvest and pray for prosperity in the coming year. - The Lincoln Druid

This beautiful offering powder can be used in offering ceremonies to the Goddess Áine or when working with the local spirits of the land or fae (and is completely nature-safe and biodegradable.)
It can also be used in healing spells where a solar aspect is beneficial; to elevate mood, to help bring the body into alignment, to restore a sense of balance or purpose to the self, and for shifting back into the "light" - getting back out into everyday life - after a difficult time.
