This is a stereotypically masculine style scent which had not featured on the store so I wanted to make it available after it was requested. Also I have adored Nuada’s energies: the intellectual strategist who encourages you to overcome and keep going.
Nuada was a High King of the Tuatha Dé Danann race of Gods twice, thought to be a fair and just ruler, an embodiment of healthy masculine sovereignty being loyal and dedicated to serving the people and the land.
Much of the stories from the Irish mythology feature his pain and loss, his physical loss of his arm/hand that led to the loss of his status (as in the mythology a king missing a limb could not rule. This is an unfortunate part of the myth which is not particularly disabled friendly.)
Nuada is connected to restoration as he had a divinely crafted silver arm/hand and later a magical version that restored it to him in the flesh.
For myself, Nuada came to represent the noble survivor, the King who sacrificed his ability to rule because he sought to fight to defend others in battle, and then protect the land which - by the magical contract of Ireland - would suffer if he remained as king.
Nuada was described as being the pinnacle of the Tuatha Dé Danann - a people talented in every art - by the druid of the Fir Bolg in the myth, Nuada led his people back to their ancestral home.
He was renown as a great capable warrior, strategist, and was chosen to wield the sword of light, one of the four great treasures found by the Tuatha Dé Danann in their travels - a weapon that none can stand against.
Nuada was also a diplomat, seeking diplomatic solutions over warfare with the Fir Bolg - albeit unsuccessfully in this case.
The energy matrix of the spell range for Nuada reflects his energies, supporting us in protective shielding work, helping us to find successful solutions to difficulties; through diplomacy or through spellwork. It can assist as an anchor in difficult times, and help us to restore a sense of self afterwards.
