New for Halloween 2018 to Starry Eyed Supplies is the creation of spell items to honour The Swamp Witch!
This beloved archetype had a profound impact on my childhood within storytelling and I was reminded of it by the resurrgence of Her image in AHS through the very popular Misty Day.
 
The Swamp Witch embodies the energies of the Swamp; having learned to intuitively wildcraft and heal with the materials around Her, She is often portrayed as a Wise Southern Lady who takes no nonsense from people, has no problem with grubby fingernails as they show hard work, and prefers functionality over aesthetic, although often they have a cool kitsch aesthetic totally of their own none the less!
Swamp Witches are often self taught and solitary, and have a close affinity to the water that surrounds them as well as the wildlife; whilst some might flinch from creepy crawlies and the creatures that bite in the night, the Swamp Witch embraces them and works with their energies.
Swamp Witches can heal and therefore can poison just as easily; the nature of the Swamp is survival of the fitness, and the Swamp Witch knows this intimately.
