The recreation of a new vibration and scent was required for Temple of the Spirits of the Dead, and as such I’ve combined the "spirits of the Dead" with the "forgotten dead" energy to create a smudge with an energetic matrix that honours all the spirits you wish to - come the dark half of the year or all year around.
 
Protective layers have been built into the matrix to keep your spirit interactions safe and your energy protected.
A layer of spirit offering has also been added, to gift to the spirits in honouring their presence & assistance in your life and spiritual work.
 
The Temple of the Spirits of the Dead evokes the energetic matrix and scent of its temple: walking the twisting roads of the graveyard in autumn, the liminal death space of the year.
Leaves fall and mist curls around you, with fragrant autumn spice on the air, mixed with deep, rich, earthiness.
 
The centre of the temple is a marble mausoleum, covered in tendrils of rust red vines and leaves.
Candles are scattered all over the front steps, wax drips and flows into little rivers.
Step forward with your offerings in this sacred space, to honour and commune with the spirits, pouring honey mead libations onto the ground, wafting sacred smoke in offering and opening up your psychic senses.
 
This Temple is an ancient pathway between the realm of the Living and the realm of the Dead, and has been created with complete reverence and honour. This is the culmination of walking the path of Shadow with respect, and opening the self up to hear the message of Spirits, Guides, and Ancestors.

★ Patchouli  in Witchcraft - Patchouli is considered a staple herb in Witchcraft for sexual rites, as an aphrodiasic and for raising the life force, for love magick, as well as for Earthing and grounding work. This makes it an ideal Witches herb as the parallel between the orgasmic and the raising of life force for spell work is rich in symbolism.
