“The Death Gate,
Drawn from the Womb’s embrace,
Not so separate or divided, as it seems,
From there, comes forth
The Old ways of magick,
That which is known, and not,
I have bent and broken my spine for you,
So that you might glimpse
an echo of eternity.
The fabric of the Universe unmade
By my whim,
I thread the needle
Through the eyes of stars
And repurpose history.
I spark the tinderbox
So the water overboils
Such is my will,
A stinging lesson,
Slaps hard across bare cheek
Magick is not for the inattentive
It is not mere whimsy,
It has teeth, and claws,
It will devour you if you let it.
So instead, we shall grapple with the reins
Shifting form and becoming formless,
And so untouchable
In our Otherness.”

This beautiful spell oil has been created to honour the Celtic Dark Goddess Cerridwen and her cauldron of creation - a space from which all is born and all dies within to be reborn.

It is the deepest recesses of the Earth, a womb within the realm of growing - from which all herbs spring forth.
It is the realm of dying, where all the living return in one form or another to rot down into enriching nutrients for the soil.

It is the realm of magick - every seed of potential and possibility that lays ready in the darkness, mirrored in her myth where she created a potion called Awen that would bestow all the wisdom, inspiration and magick unto the recipient.
 
The combination of all these energies and more besides brings together a feeling of the Witch - connected to the Spirits of the Earth, speaking to the plants and trees to gain their wisdom, harnessing the knowledge of the unknown and living in the cycles with Nature. It is the Sorceress element of the Goddess Cerridwen who understands the great mysteries of the Earth and of Magick.

★ Spell oils can be used most simply to anoint a spell candle to give it extra focus and a magical boost. For the Dark Cauldron of Cerridwen I recommend black or purple candles.
★ You can anoint anything you like though - the spell oils are completely natural. You can anoint spell bags, line your mirror with it when saying affirmations, add a little to your bath, use it to draw sigils, or tap some on your wrists to remind you that you are empowered!
 
All Starry eyed Oils are personally blended by me to a high witchy standard.
All oil bases are natural oil, no synthetics. Oils may also include herbs, resins, roots, flowers and occasionally essential oils. All the good stuff, none of the ick.
