edit - Dedicated to Kelly-Ann Maddox whose powerful voice helps women like myself walk through the shadows of self healing. I confess, I do not know how to love myself, but I am learning. Sometimes it seems an inevitable consequence of the world that we live in, that teaches women that they are not enough and worse; that “enough” is a moving goal post that is designed to suck the power from their bones and leave them isolated, having spent years of their time dedicated to a f
I have been musing about how one takes control of ones own sovereignty in regards to the parts of ourselves that we might ‘give away’ in interactions with other people – whether unwittingly or knowingly, and the impact that it has on our selves. With steering the best course so one does not get trampled underfoot of the wants and desires of other people, and yet not to become tyrannical in our approaches. The balance between personal boundary and the urge to support others.

We raise energies in circles, embodying a temple within and without of the self, structuring our magickal practice with border lines and directing our power to protect and allow (or reject) certain levels of spirit encroachment
Image – Natalie Ving “Fate always goes as it must.” – Beowulf c.800 I.455 There have been storms of late. Moments of terrible tumultuous change vibrating through every iota of the universe, encapsulated in physical ballets of destruction across the world, as nature echoes the spiritual landscape.
Then alongside these crescendos of chaotic will are moments of stillness and silence, almost pregnant pauses that seem to punctuate this riotous ballad, and the contrast is so stark

Initially, the themes of this time have been fitting with Virgo energies; recent themes of note and spiritual prominence have swirled around obligation, responsibilities, and duties, with them laid heavy across the mantle of our homes, our lives, and our souls. But more than that, the energies have reminded us of the obligation we have to ourselves, and to the worl
Art by Pierre Alain In yesterdays Live chat we mentioned a saying that I felt compelled to share with Crisyesterday (and I will link the full video down below.) But I felt drawn to say it again. This is something that came to me personally with Spirit guiding the way and I felt it was important. Stop planting yourself in concrete. You have roots that need to spread out and grow, they need to be in fertile soil, enriched by the enviroment around them. Stop planting yourself in

– Isodora Duncan Stepping into the labyrinth of Spiritual adventure is to open ones self to a myriad of experiences, the commitment to the notion and practice of seeking.
That search on a personal level came from a place of inner yearning; to know, to understand, to unravel the mysteries; to touch the primal livewire of something magickal and Other. There was an innate knowing already, almost w

The Underworld, perhaps the pinnacle of all Dark spaces, has peculiar methods of communication.
This recent journey of Soul it instigated within me, which has been littered with synchronicity and crystal clear moments of understanding, began, largely, as a result of a cup of coffee… well, two to be exact. The se
“This forest is old. Very old. Full of memories…and anger. The trees are speaking to each other.” – Legolas The Two Towers Working witchcraft with the magick of trees is, simply put, one of the most rewarding forms of magickal interaction that there is.
Trees are ancient, wise, and the natural guardians of this world; they traverse realms, deeply rooted under the Earth and stretching far out into the air. They truly speak in a language all of their own; something which final
January is one of those months; it has a stillness to it; often feeling stark, bleak, and unyielding both in nature and on an energetic level; it continues the theme of the bare bones of all things and whilst we are encouraged to begin again, renew ourselves optimistically and with gusto, I often feel that there is a step missing in this inevitable pattern. I understand the need for self renewal and have stuck to the theme of January being “Self care is Soul care,” through of
